Aims and Scope of this journal
Global Review of Library and Information Science (GRELIS) (ISSN: 3428 - 0009) is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality, original research owned and published by the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. It isa biannual journal for librarians, information scientists, specialists, managers and educators interested in keeping up to date with the most recent issues and developments in the field of library and information science.
GRELIS publishes papers from practising librarians, information workers and academics which reflect all aspects of librarianship and information science focusing on the results of research, reports of significant developments in working practice and discussions of concerns central to the library and information science profession.
This journal only publishes manuscripts in English. The journal publishes original papers and review articles, viewpoints and book reviews.
Open Access
Authors have the option to publish open access in this journal via our Open Select publishing program.
Publishing open access means that your article will be accessed online freely immediately on publication, increasing the visibility, readership and impact of your research. Articles published Open Access typically receive more citations and downloads.
You will be asked to pay an article publishing charge (APC) to make your article open access.
Full articles: Contributions should normally be between 4000 and 10,000 words in length. They should include an abstract of not more than 250 words and between three and five key words.
References
Use APA or any other style that embeds citations in the article, e.g., (Okafor, 2015), with a list of works cited at the end of the article. Do not use footnote or endnote citations. Please include links to any web resources that are mentioned.
Publication Charges
Each paper must be accompanied with a review fee of five thousand naira (N5,000.00) only.
All accepted articles for publication sent to authors for corrections must be sent back within one month of acceptance with a publication fee of N25,000.00 only. All articles are submitted using the Journal submission platform via the Journal website.
